What Is Salvation?
Salvation
Salvation is a gift from God. You are saved from the eternal consequences of your sin and given eternal life. Salvation is about what God has already done for you – not what you can do for Him.
How am I saved?
Ephesians 2:8 says "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." You have been saved by the grace of Jesus through faith; not because of anything you have done but rather, because of what he did for you when he died on the cross and rose again.
What do I need to do to be saved?
Romans 10:9 says, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is when you turn away from sin, repent, and believe and confess that Jesus is Lord. You don’t have to work for salvation, you can simply believe for salvation. “TODAY IS THE DAY”
You can make a decision to follow Jesus today! We are invited to call on the name of the Lord and be saved. You can call on Him from wherever you are right now. Not sure what to say? Speak honestly. Ask Him to forgive you of your sin. Confess that you need Jesus to be your Savior. Commit your life to Him.
If you made that decision, click “Follow Jesus” so we can celebrate with you!
I’m Saved. What’s Next?
Following Jesus isn’t the end, it’s the start! We believe that these are the best next steps for you to take as you begin your life as a follower of Jesus.
THE BIBLE
The Bible is the word of God, written by faithful men chosen by God under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. While humans were the vessels God used to write down the passages, the truth of the Bible did not come from human understanding or knowledge. Every part of the Bible is God-breathed.
We encourage you to read the Bible every day! If you don’t own a Bible, stop by our Welcome Home area this weekend. We’d love to give you a Bible.
We have a webpage with information to get you started on reading.
WEEKEND WORSHIP SERVICES
You were created for community. The one thing that God said was “not good” in the garden was that man was alone. We need each other.
Being consistent in weekend worship services is vital to your spiritual growth as a follower of Jesus. When we gather, we get to worship together, serve one another, celebrate communion, respond to the message, and be encouraged.
Join us every Sunday morning for weekend worship services.
WATER BAPTISM
The Bible teaches that we should be baptized in water in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We believe in water baptism because Jesus himself modeled it for us.
Baptism is an outward confession of an inward decision.
Baptism is a command. Everyone who confesses Christ should be baptized.
If you have put your faith in Jesus and have not been water baptized yet, this is your best next step!
join a small group
“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” James 5:16
Being part of a small group is so important. Small groups are where we pray for each other and support each other. This is the place where you will find freedom in your life. It’s here that you will connect, protect, and grow with other people as you follow Jesus.
