OCTOBER 2025
Pastor Appreciation
Thank you,
Pastors Keith and Amy!
It’s so important to take the time to intentionally express appreciation to those we love. That’s why we are excited to let you know that during October 2025, we are celebrating Pastor Appreciation!
Here at Blaze, we are honoring Pastors Keith and Amy Indovino for their dedication to Jesus and the mission of Blaze.
Ways you can express appreciation for our pastors:
You can show appreciation for our pastors in any of these ways:
1) Prayer
As we always say at Blaze Church… “Pray First!” The first important thing you can do for our pastors is intentionally pray for them. Here are some things you can pray for:
- Spiritual Strength
Pray that they stay close to God, refreshed daily in His Word, and filled with the Holy Spirit’s power (Ephesians 6:10–11).
- Wisdom in Leadership
Ask God to give them discernment and clarity in every decision they make for the church (James 1:5).
- Protection for Their Family
Pray for peace, unity, provision and protection over their marriage, children, and home (Psalm 91:1-2).
- Encouragement and Endurance
Ask the Lord to guard them from discouragement and renew their passion to serve (Galatians 6:9).
- Health and Rest
Pray for physical health, emotional well-being, and rhythms of rest that sustain life-long ministry (Exodus 33:14).
2) Words of Affirmation
People don’t know that you’re truly grateful unless we say it and show it. Our pastors truly appreciate every word of encouragement and continue to read them throughout the year!
"Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it" —William Arthur Ward
3) Gifts
Throughout the month of October, you are welcome to express your thanks to Pastors Keith and Amy. This could be in the form of a letter, gift, check, or any other way that you'd prefer. Every Sunday, you will see a box where you can leave a thank you letter and/or gift.

Take a minute to say “Thank you” to Pastors keith and amy.
Of course, the greatest gift and encouragement you can give your pastors is to let your lives exemplify Christ everyday, Monday to Sunday. “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:1-2).”
Why We Do This
Here’s why we take time as a church throughout the year to intentionally and consistently appreciate our Pastors:
- Honor breaks down pride. When we honor others, it builds humility in our heart. It’s good for your heart!
- We get to appreciate those who do so much for Jesus and His church!
- Scripture specifically directs us to honor our spiritual leaders and pastors:
1 Thessalonians 5:12-13
Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.
1 Timothy 5:17
The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
1 Peter 5:6
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.
On Sunday, October 5, 2025, we took a moment to pray for our pastors.
